Mashele Mbungela, an award-winning multimedia professional from Mpumalanga, brings over a decade of experience to D!gging Deeper. His accolades include the 2016 Best Photographer BFM Award and the 2022 Sunday World Unsung Hero – Youth in Science, Tech & Innovation award. He is committed to upskilling youth and fellow creatives in multimedia.
Austin Mbele
Offline Editor
Founder of Mystique Visuals. A Cinematographer and Photographer based in Balfour, Mpumalanga. Holding a Cinematography qualification, he has four years of experience in producing music videos and short-form content. Austin is recognized as one of Muzikayise’s promising mentees.
Phakamile “Phakza” Ngwenya
Music Composer
Founder of PR Studios. A seasoned musician, composer, and producer from Mahushu, Mpumalanga. With over ten years of experience – he and other musos lent his musical genius to the creation of the D!gging Deeper: S1 (Music From The Documentary Series) theme song and its variations. Musically, he has to be one of Mpumalanga’s most hidden creative treasures.
Raymond “M.R.I Mantra” Taiwe
Music Composer
Founder of Archetype Media Group and an SAE Institute Sound Engineering graduate from White River, Mpumalanga. Raymond is a longtime collaborator with MYK GVNS. Under his alias, M.R.I Mantra, he contributed to D!gging Deeper: S1 (Music From The Documentary Series). Raymond is also a skilled videographer.
Thando Magagula
Production Assistant
A Public Management graduate and mentee of Muzikayise’s from Kabokweni, Mpumalanga. Thando is a key member of TheMousist.co.za’s production team. With extensive experience, he has developed expertise as a Photographer, Videographer, and Production Assistant. Thando played a critical and versatile role in the production of D!gging Deeper.
Thabang Mlimo
Production Assistant
A Journalism graduate from Kabokweni, Mpumalanga who joined TheMousist.co.za as an intern for practical experience, under the mentorship of Muzikayise. He has since developed proficiency as a Photographer and Drone Operator. Thabang served as a key production assistant, significantly contributing to the efficiency of the D!gging Deeper production process.
